[Note: I even tried using the multi-timbral instrument Trillian, arbitrarily setting channel to 6 of the Auxiliary channel. As the drummer plays it triggers my ES2 patch (Channel 2), instead of triggering the software instrument that's on the track that corresponds with channel 10. But when recording, the controller on the current track activates the software instruments on both tracks. I have armed multiple tracks for Recording, and turned on my 2nd controller, in this case a Roland V-Drum (which is set to Channel 10, and verified by the Input Monitor in the MIDI environment).
I turned on the " Auto Demix", even tried toggling MIDI Data Reduction to no avail. Yet despite this, Logic triggers the instrument irrespective of the channel. Oxygen 49 where I arbitrarily set channel 2 on the hardware. When I look at the Input Monitor in the Midi Environment, I clearly see that the channel its receiving data on corresponds to my 1st controller, e.g. Regardless of the channel I choose in the Track section of the inspector, Logic receives information and triggers the software instrument. I've seen other posts, that were resolved, but none of those seemed to apply to me. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced difficulty setting up multiple midi controllers.
